A preposition of place is a preposition which is used to refer to a place where something or someone is located. There are only three prepositions of place, however they can be used to discuss an almost endless number of places.

At – A preposition of place which is used to discuss a certain point
Example: I am at home.

In – A preposition of place which is used to discuss an enclosed space
Example: I am in the classroom.

On –preposition of place which is used to discuss a surface
Example: I am on the first floor.

Many

Means a large amount of, or a lot of in quantity.

Means a large number of, or a lot in number.

It is used with uncountable nouns.

It is used with countable nouns.

It is used in negative and interrogative clauses.

It is used in question affirmative sentences, and negations.

Examples:

Now he looked so much like his father.

Children ask many questions.

How much did you pay for it?

How many books did you buy from the bookshp?

Every day there is much work to be done.

There are many touristic places in Kuwait.
